The carp have started to spawn in Seabrooks Reservoir.
They will no doubt start soon in our other stillwaters.
Please note we do not close our stillwaters when fish start spawning because they can stop and start again over a period of time. However, be aware of Fish Welfare Rule 11 that states ‘members must not fish for spawning fish or in an area where fish are spawning’.
