Details: We're submitting this catch report as a tribute to our good friend and fishing buddy Alan who sadly passed away at St Barts hospital London on Sunday 4th August 2024 aged 66.For many years Alan always started our fishing sessions with the words "I'm going to get my 30 pounder today". We all joined KDAA in May 2023 and Alan achieved his ambition on his very first night time visit to Silver End on 31st May 2023 at about 11:15 in the evening when after catching numerous Bream he finally hooked something bigger and landed the fish known as 'Jigsaw' weighing in at 30lb 7oz. We've had numerous visits to Silver End front and back pits since then but were never able to beat that success.Wherever you’re fishing now Alan we’d all like to just say…..Tight lines mate.Keith, Mike and Gary.
