Details: 7/8 bites on this day. Unfortunately the 6th bite will always remain a mystery.. A case of the one that got away. I believe that my stealthy approach aided me in this session. Fishing super quietly, setting up well back in the swim (yet still within 3M of the rods), making no noise whatsoever. This allowed the Carp to go about their business whilst completely oblivious to my presence. Carp are far easier to outwit when they are content, yet almost impossible to catch after they’re made aware of your whereabouts. They may not “spook” or “bolt” when they see you, but they will be aware of your presence, as a result will also not take your bait. Remain stealthy.
