Details: To me, this is so much more than just a capture. I first caught this fish way back in 2010 when I was about 14 years old. To think of all the journeys I have since been on, the places I have seen and travelled… To think of ups & downs of life since then, the other fishing adventures… To think of the people that have come and gone in my life, mistakes I have made, good decisions I’ve made… To think of the responsibilities I now have, compared to back then and all the while this incredible old Mirror Carp had just been happily swimming around, minding its own business. Truly humbling and a capture which made me quite emotional, actually. Truly was a pleasure to see her again and in the exact same condition as 14 years ago; mint!I will save capture details with this one as I feel it is far more than just “another capture”.Thank you to all at KDAA. I have never experienced this emotion in my angling before. It was moving & truly lovely. I would love for this fish to remain un-named forever more. X
