Club Information

The KDAA established in 1947 caters for pleasure, specimen and match fishing.  With waters within eight mile radius of Kelvedon, in mid – Essex located between Chelmsford and Colchester. Accessible from the A12.

KDAA is a friendly angling club that provides some of the best uncrowded fishing in Essex.

We have ten still waters that are open all year round and fishing on stetches of the river Blackwater

Night fishing is allowed on six of the still waters.

Adult subscription is £95 per annum with many concessions.

Please note that all our waters are member only waters and we do not issue day tickets. Members may purchase Guest tickets.

Seabrooks Reservoir Work Party Thursday morning 2nd May

Seabrooks reservoir will be closed on Thursday 2nd May for a work party to burn up the cut material and finish cutting the alder shoots. Please attend if you are able, many hands making light work. The work party will start at 9am.

Work on slope at Silver End Front Pit – Thursday 18th April

As part of the work planned for this year, the slopes from the carpark areas to the Back Pit and Front Pit will be upgraded next Thursday, 18th April. We do not want to close the pits but access down the slopes will not be possible whilst the work is being carried...
